VHS Camera: Retro Video Editor records and edits home movies with a vintage tape look.

For help, email apps@cryptdapp.com. Include your device model, app version and a description of the issue. Please do not send passwords or private videos.

Save your finished tape

Open a tape, choose Export, render the video, then save it to Photos or share it. Editing keeps your original clips separate.

Cloud originals

From build 20, original video and sound upload automatically while the app is open, with no upload button or sign-in needed. You can switch Automatic backup off in Settings. Earlier builds may require enabling that setting. Transfers use Wi-Fi by default, and interrupted transfers retry. Only original clips are uploaded. Edited exports and editing projects stay on your device. Cloud restore is not available in this release. This phone keeps a secure backup identity between app launches and app updates. Uninstalling, clearing app data, or moving to another phone can lose that identity. Keep separate copies of important videos.

Account and data deletion

See deletion instructions. Recording and editing do not require a cloud account.
